Klargörelse: The Nordic Art of Sweeping Away the Fog
On paper, klargörelse—a Scandinavian term rooted in Swedish and Danish variations—translates neatly to “clarification” or “making ready”. But much like lagom or fylla, its literal translation fails to capture its cultural weight.
In practice, klargörelse is the intentional process of bringing transparency to confusion. It is neither rushing to an unearned conclusion nor lazily oversimplifying a complex problem. Instead, it is a structural act of housekeeping: taking a tangled web of thoughts, logistics, or emotions and laying them out in the light so they can be plainly seen, understood, and acted upon.
