Midjourney Gratis: Cómo usarlo y mejores alternativas en 2026

Navigating “Midjourney Gratis”: The Reality of Free AI Image Generation

When people search for “Midjourney gratis” (Spanish, German, and Portuguese for “Midjourney free”), they are usually looking for a way to experience one of the world’s most powerful text-to-image generators without pulling out a credit card.

Midjourney has earned a legendary reputation for producing hyper-realistic, painterly, and cinematic images from simple text prompts. However, figuring out how to access it without a paid subscription can feel like a moving target.

The Current Status of Midjourney’s Free Access

To understand how to use Midjourney without paying full price, it helps to look at how the platform structures its access:

• No Free Trial on Web/Discord: Midjourney historically offered a limited free trial for new users on Discord. However, due to overwhelming demand and system strain, that open-access trial was suspended. Today, the main website and Discord integration require a paid subscription, starting with the Basic plan.
• The Mobile App Exception (Niji·journey): According to official Midjourney documentation, a limited free trial is available through the Niji·journey app on iOS and Android. Niji·journey is an official app created in partnership with Spellbrush that utilizes Midjourney’s core technology, optimized specifically for anime, manga, and stylized illustrations.
• Alternative Channels: Because a direct, zero-cost desktop trial for the primary web app is generally unavailable, creators looking for a “gratis” experience often turn to alternative platforms or clever workarounds.

Smart Alternatives to Experience Midjourney-Grade AI for Free

If you want to test high-end AI image generation without committing to Midjourney’s monthly subscription, several robust alternatives offer genuine free tiers:

1. Leonardo.ai: A powerhouse platform offering a generous daily allowance of free tokens. It features fine-tuned models capable of stunning fantasy art, realistic portraits, and game assets.
2. Adobe Firefly: Built with commercial safety in mind, Adobe offers a free tier allowing users to test out text-to-image generation, text effects, and vector creations directly in a web browser.
3. Flux (via open platforms): Developed by the masterminds behind early open-source models, Flux delivers text comprehension and photorealism that rivals Midjourney. It can be tested for free across various third-party wrapper sites and developer playgrounds.

Tips for Getting the Most Out of Your Search

If you are determined to find a legitimate promotional window or trial:

• Keep an Eye on Official Announcements: Midjourney occasionally opens promotional windows or community events tied to major version releases (like new model rollouts). Check their official Discord or X (formerly Twitter) announcements for updates.
• Beware of Scams: Be cautious of third-party websites claiming to offer “100% free lifetime Midjourney premium accounts.” These are frequently phishing links or malware traps. Stick to official application stores or trusted AI aggregators.

Whether you decide to check out the mobile-based Niji app for a trial or test a completely free alternative like Leonardo.ai, the world of AI art has never been more accessible.
